Evening all 🙂
How are you all? I’m not having a bad week but I do wish this weather would make up its mind. I thought it was getting warmer over the weekend but its gone cold again and I don’t like it. xD
Of course the cold weather keeps me indoors where I can work on my project so I guess its a blessing in disguise. So last week I showed you guys I had finished the cocktail stitch and Cookie Bear himself and I was hoping to show you guys the cocktail as a card this week but sadly I haven’t had time to make it yet. However, I can show you guys how much more I have work on Cookie Bear and the little baby elephant I have started to work on while at work. 🙂
Cookie Bear is coming along nicely as you can see. 🙂 The ribbon is all done and I’m half way through one of the two presents and the shadowing. I can’t believe how much I’ve managed to do since last week, I’ve made sure I did a bit each night and its made a lot of difference. 🙂 Getting quite excited how close I am to finishing the full stitch section of him as I have been working on this project for over a year now!
With the baby elephant I noticed today at work I went a little bit wrong so I had to unpick his legs but its all sorted now, just hoping I don’t go wrong again. I just need to finish the shadow and stitch the back of the adult elephant, add the backstitching and then he’s all finished!

Thank you 😊 it’s amazing what just ten minutes can do while I’m at work. Got a little surprise to blog about later. 😁 Tomorrow I’m planning on having a baking afternoon so if that all goes well then I’ll post some pictures and then Sunday I think will be a writing and making candles day. 😊

Oh that sounds like a lovely weekend. Sadly I will be cleaning and organizing for the weekend and maybe packing stuff.

Ya I don’t mind cleaning up it’s just starting it that takes me some time. I’m a big procrastinator.

Same here xD I’m like I’ll just watch one more episode and then I’ll do some cleaning, six episodes later and still no cleaning done. xD

These are lovely. I really like how just picking up a colour and doing one strand makes such a difference in cross stitch
